Day one
Grand Teton
Mormon Row or Schwabacher Landing, Jenny Lake, and one open trail.
Day two
River or wildlife
Choose one Snake River section or a guided dawn wildlife route.
Day three
Jackson
Breakfast, Town Square, galleries, or the wildlife museum before departure.
Day 1
Start at Mormon Row or Schwabacher Landing, then choose the Jenny Lake boat and Hidden Falls or another open trail. Check current construction and closures before using familiar Taggart or Moose-Wilson plans.
Morning to afternoon
Pair Mormon Row or Schwabacher Landing with Jenny Lake, then give one open trail enough time. Death Canyon Road and Trailhead are closed through November 30, 2026, and other construction can alter familiar approaches.
Day 2
Book a scenic float or whitewater section after checking its launch, or take a dawn naturalist outing through refuge and park habitat. Return to Jackson for dinner rather than adding Yellowstone.
One reserved outing
A float and a dawn wildlife outing use different hours and geography. Confirm the launch or pickup point, current weather, fire restrictions, and wildlife closures before departure.
Day 3
Eat breakfast, walk Town Square and nearby galleries, or visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art before Jackson Hole Airport. Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City departures require a longer road window.
Morning
For a short window, walk Town Square and nearby galleries. The wildlife museum is another option when its opening hours match the airport route.
